I created this business to bring soul and strategy to a process that can feel overwhelming for some people, and downright miserable for others. (Nope, we don’t hide from our industry’s reputation.) 

Because yes—layered textures, timeless materials, and thoughtful details matter.

HEY — I’M SARAH. 

I was the kid constantly rearranging furniture and sewing curtains from beach towels. Ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, my daydreams have been filled with mental images of spaces that make sense—and feel safe. 

To be at ease, to be myself, and to be inspired. 

In 2013, I found myself in corporate design in San Francisco—successful on paper, but deeply out of alignment. So I booked a flight. Traveled. Lived. And followed a quiet nudge to build a life that felt right. 

That’s where the story of Sarah Allen Design begins. 

Today, I help homeowners design soulful, sophisticated spaces that look as good as they feel. 

I blend timeless style, Human Design principles, and a whole lot of calm leadership to make the process not just bearable, but beautiful.

    Creative Support & Studio Operations Originally from Dinard, France, Maël brings an eye for detail and a background in photography, hospitality, and the wine industry. He’s often the first to see potential in a space—and the one making sure nothing important slips through the cracks. (Still not moving to Paris, though. We’ve asked.)

  • Paige Bellante

    Interior Designer With a background in visual merchandising and an instinct for smart, livable layouts, Paige helps bring clarity to the vision and function to every design. She makes big decisions feel easy—and has a gift for color theory and floorplans that just work.  
     

  • Monica Eng

    Project Manager With roots in both engineering and design, Monica thrives where beauty meets complexity. She manages our project timelines and order expediting with thoughtfulness and precision—so you never have to worry about the moving pieces. 
     

  • Cheryl Stewart
